Etron Technology (GTSM: 5351) today announced that its net sales for June 2008 were NT$625 million (US$21 million), down 7.2% from NT$674 million (US$22 million) for May 2008. Accumulated revenues from January through June of this year totaled NT$4,321 million (US$139 million), down 28.9% from NT$6,079 million (US$184 million) for the same period of last year. The decrease was mainly a result of US economic decline and global inflation. Shipment volumes for the first six months of 2008 continued to grow compared to that of the same period of 2007. Etron has maintained strong business relationships with both domestic and international customers, and is continuously enhancing technology, services, and optimized costs to further strengthen the company’s competitive advantages.
