In a bid to continuously enhance health and safety of employees, Etron Technology has introduced the OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and received certification from Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL), an international assessment organization, for the implement of the OHSAS 18001 on June 11 of 2008.
By adopting effective methods, technologies, and equipment, the company has made great efforts to build a safe and healthy environment, prevent occupational injury and illness from happening, and strengthen the company’s product quality and service standard. Efforts include setting management objectives for regular examinations and continuous improvements, producing standard procedures for emergency circumstances, conducting first aid and emergency drills, and providing health checks and educational programs on safety and health for employees.
